The South Tower at Royal Bank Plaza reported ongoing water leaks concentrated at Floors 7 to 9 at drop 10. Streaks and discontinuities in the sealant at spandrel unit levels provided evidence that water was travelling between floors and along / within curtain wall framing. Implementation of repairs and systems to permit monitoring of future leaks commenced and expansion joint repairs were completed at the following locations:
- Expansion joint 9-10: drop 10 and 10a.
- Expansion joint 9-10: drop 9
- Expansion joint 7-8: drop 10a.
