The Equinix TR2 Data Centre at 45 Parliament Street, Toronto, is a 5-storey, 225,000-square-foot facility designed for high-performance connectivity and reliability, with a critical power capacity of up to 16 MVA, deployed in 2.5 MW increments.
The building envelope incorporates terracotta panels and glass façades, designed to balance thermal performance, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
To support energy efficiency and long-term resilience, the project included thermal modeling of cladding connections, design development, and performance analysis.
Engineering services encompassed construction document preparation, shop drawing review, mock-up evaluations, building envelope construction monitoring, and curtain wall field testing to ensure compliance with performance standards and weather resistance.
