60,000 square foot, multi-storey office space.The project includes the installation of three suspended, moveable partitions and a 3-storey interconnecting staircase. Our scope of work included the preparation of a comprehensive structural drawing package for the new steel supports required for the suspended partitions, the creation of new floor openings, and the design of the interconnecting staircase.
Working closely with the interior designers, we ensured continuity in the free-flowing workspace between different floors. The three interconnected folding partitions were supported by a dedicated framing system, independent of the base building beams. Our services included assessment, investigation, schematic design, contract documents, and contract administration, ensuring a seamless integration of the new structural elements with the existing building.
