This project involved the addition of new atrium, extension of the living quarters, a new garage, and renovation of existing living quarters at Holy Family Parish. Our structural team provided responsive solutions that adapted to changes in architectural design and budget parameters. The scope required a strategic and flexible approach to meet the evolving needs of the project.

We prepared detailed contract documents for permit and tender, which included underpinning strategies for adjacent structures and reinforcement details for existing ground floor joists to facilitate integration with the new construction, in addition to specifying the structural elements for the new additions.

Structural services also included feasibility reviews and recommendations for future rooftop mechanical unit installations. For the kitchen renovation, we addressed structural modifications required for ductwork through load-bearing CMU walls and the exterior brick façade, providing lintel details and structural sketches to maintain the building’s integrity.

During construction, we supported the project through regular review of structural shop drawings and field involvement to ensure alignment with the design intent and applicable codes. Coordination with the project team remained a priority throughout, enabling a smooth and efficient delivery of the structural scope with minimal disruption to church operations.
